Virtual Edge Summit 2012

The Virtual Edge Summit will once again be co-located with Convening Leaders. Unlike the 2011 post-program, the 2012 program will be seamlessly integrated into our Monday – Wednesday conference  agenda.

The sessions and learning experiences are targeted at helping event and meeting producers as well as learning professionals and others in marketing and organizational management understand how others are using the technology and what is working successfully. From revenue generation programs to marketing and product launch events the focus will be on how to plan, fund, staff and manage successful programs. Sessions will be interactive and highlight case studies and with real programs detailing actual costs and outcomes.     

Additionally, Digital Event Strategist sessions will be offered to prepare applicants for the 2012 certification program; expected to be approved by CIC in mid 2012. These sessions will explore areas of strategy related to advancing events, meeting and learning experiences with the latest digital technologies.  Those attending these sessions will be notified of the certification requirements and exam dates once CIC has established the criteria. All DES sessions completed during Virtual Edge Summit 2012 will be credited towards your certification requirements.

Virtual Edge Summit sessions are included in your Convening Leaders registration at no additional cost; however, all participants must register in advance for these sessions.
