Deadlines

  • Thursday, November 10, 2011 by 11:59 p.m. (MST) - Deadline for early registration. Higher fees will apply after this date and onsite. Mailed registrations must be RECEIVED by this date to qualify for early registration fees.
  • Thursday, December 15, 2011 - Deadline for registration refunds (less processing fees).
  • Thursday, December 15, 2011 - Deadline for booking hotel reservations in the PCMA Room Block.

Official Housing Block:

  • Save $200 USD on your 2012 registration fee when you stay within the official PCMA housing block. Stay at any of these official hotels to receive your registration discount:

    • San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina
    • Hilton San Diego Bayfront
    • Omni San Diego
    Additionally PCMA has collaborated with the following two official hotels to provide a $159 room rate. These hotels are a part of the PCMA Official Housing Block and will automatically show as options for Professional/Associate Professional members (while availability allows) when registering and booking housing. The $200 USD registration fee credit will automatically apply to rooms booked at these hotels.  Please note: These hotels/rates are intended for Professional/Associate Professional members a) who must pay for participation in Convening Leaders out of their own pockets; or b) whose organization’s budget has been reduced, making participation in PCMA’s Convening Leaders prohibitive. We respectfully request that you only book these rooms/hotels if one of the above is applicable to your situation.

One-on-One Partners and Planners:

Non-Members:

  • If you are a first time member and live in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and Mexico become a PCMA member ($360 USD for Professional Members/$485 USD for Supplier Partner Members) and your registration fee to the Annual Meeting, if you stay inside the official housing block, is $500 USD for Professional Members and $600 USD for Supplier Partners. That is a savings of $395 off the non-member rate.Discount not valid for Associate level memberships. See details

*Associate members who have attended one PCMA annual meeting at the member rate must upgrade their membership in order to register for the meeting at the member rate. Please contact PCMA Membership at membership@pcma.org to upgrade membership prior to registering.

**Guest refers to a spouse, significant other or personal friend, NOT a business associate, staff colleague or fellow student. Guest registration will NOT allow access to any sessions except evening receptions on Sunday and Tuesday evenings.

***One Day Registration includes sessions and social events on selected day only. Monday registration includes the Sunday Opening Reception.

All education sessions (unless otherwise noted).

All continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks, seated luncheons, and Sunday and Tuesday evening networking receptions

Please note: Many pre-conference workshops and community service activities require additional fees; please indicate session/event choice and fees when you register. Most education sessions do not require tickets. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Many optional sessions, activities and events are ticketed and applicable tickets will be included in credentials onsite.

IMPORTANT FOR 2012: By staying within the official PCMA housing block at Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina, Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel, Omni San Diego Hotel, Embassy Suites San Diego Bay, and Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter you are helping PCMA keep overall registration fees lower than they otherwise would be. In an effort to support our host city of San Diego and demonstrate effective practices in room block management, the PCMA Board of Directors is supporting the following policy. For 2012, you will save $200 USD on your registration fee by staying within the official PCMA housing block at Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina, Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel, Omni San Diego Hotel, Embassy Suites San Diego Bay, and Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. Take advantage of the convenience, participant camaraderie and of course, savings, by staying within the block.

Participants staying out of the PCMA Convening Leaders housing block will be charged an additional $200 USD on conference registration. If you later cancel your Hotel reservation inside the official PCMA housing block, your credit card will automatically be charged (or you will be invoiced) an additional $200 USD for your registration fee.

Payment/Change/Cancellation/Refund Policy

  1. Full payment must accompany your registration form. Credit card payment must be included for online and faxed registrations. Check payment will only be accepted with mailed forms. Registration fees will be shown on credit card statements as PCMA 2012 Convening Leaders. Checks for registration fees should be made payable to PCMA 2012. One check may be used to include registration fees and member fees and must be accompanied by both registration and housing forms. 
  2. Participant replacements by another PCMA Member who is a business colleague or co-worker will be accepted; a $50 USD processing fee will apply to all requests until December 15, 2011 by 11:59 p.m. MST. A $75 USD processing fee will apply to all requests after this date and onsite. Attendee replacement must complete the full registration and housing forms with written request by the replaced participant.
  3. Cancellation of registration must be submitted in writing via email and must be dated on or before 11:59 p.m. MST on December 15, 2011 to receive a refund less a $140 USD registration cancellation processing fee. Cancellation of registration for the Hosted Buyer Program after December 16, 2011 is subject to a $350 USD cancellation processing fee. A $25 USD cancellation processing fee will be applied when cancelling the CMP® Cram Course. Student, Faculty and Guest cancellations are subject to a $50 USD cancellation processing fee. There are no refunds for charitable events. After December 15, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. MST no refunds will be granted. No refunds for no-shows. Note to ESPA (formerly ACOM) one-day registrants: Due to the discounted registration fee, if cancellation occurs at any time, no refund will be granted to ESPA registrants attending one day of Convening Leaders.
  4. PCMA Registration is not responsible for faxes not received due to mechanical failure or circumstances beyond its control.

Badges

Attendees registering in advance may pick up badge and registration materials at the Advance Registration desk located at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina, Hilton San Diego Bayfront and the Omni San Diego on Saturday, January 7 and Sunday, January 8 or at the Onsite Registration kiosks at the San Diego Convention Center during hours indicated above for Onsite Registration. Please note that photo ID will be required to pick up badges/materials. Students must show valid student identification in order to pick up badges/materials if registered at the student rate. Participants will not be allowed to pick up other participant badges/materials.
