CEU Credits at PCMA Convening Leaders 2012

PCMA will once again feature the ability for you to swipe your badge when entering all general and concurrent sessions which will automatically record CEUs for a PCMA transcript which can be used to obtain or recertify for your Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation or for other industry certifications.

Most sessions at PCMA’s Convening Leaders 2012 in San Diego can earn you Continuing Education Units (CEUs). However not all education is available for CEUs.  Education not included would be any session shorter than one (1) hour such as select PCMA Learning Lounge sessions. 

You can earn a maximum of 16 Clock Hours, depending on the sessions you select and their length, at PCMA Convening Leaders 2012.

The Convention Industry Council (CIC) now measures sessions in clock hours.  One clock hour equals .1 CEUs.  A session of one and one half clock hours would equal .2 CEUs.  Please note that some sessions of one and one half hours which feature entertainment or PCMA business may still only qualify for .1 CEUs or one clock hour as only the educational portion of sessions are recorded for CEUs.
